Full Day Camp (Entering K - 6th)

The Full Day Camp consists of three divisions, Lower Camp (entering K & 1st), Middle Camp (entering 2nd & 3rd) and Upper Camp (entering 4th - 6th).  A series of activities are planned to ensure a day of variety and fun. In addition to a daily swim lesson, our camp activities may include: sports, arts, music, recreational swim, dance & movement, nature, science, crafts, gaga ball, and more! There is also some emphasis on outdoor education woven into the camp program. The instructional activities may include creative arts, high-low ropes course, clay, archery, and swimming.

Our facilities have air-conditioned buildings, an archery range, fields, a large gymnasium, and two heated, outdoor pools. They wonderfully support our elementary school-aged campers!

  • Camp Goals and Outcomes

We want campers to have fun while building self-esteem, independence, and relationships. Our staff keeps every camper comfortable, safe, and engaged so they get the most out of camp.

    We Help Campers Build Self-Esteem

    • Older campers (entering 2nd–6th grade) choose their own activities, weather permitting.
    • Every camper takes part in at least one confidence-building activity daily — challenge course, sports, swimming, or archery
    • Our staff encourages every camper to join in and try new things.

We Help Campers Challenge Themselves and Learn New Skills

    • Each week, campers take on 2+ new challenges — crafts, sports, dance, swimming, ropes course, or archery.

We Help Campers Build Social Skills

    • Staff encourages campers to branch out beyond their usual friend group.
    • In our small camp environment, campers get to know each other and build lasting friendships.

We Help Campers Grow More Independent

    • Away from home and trying new things, campers rise to the occasion in a nurturing environment, growing more responsible and independent along the way.
  • Swimming Lessons

We believe that swimming is an important life-saving skill. The Full Day Campers have a swim lesson each morning, and the group lesson size is small.

The swim staff is entirely separate from the counselor staff, and all members of the swim staff hold Lifeguard Training (LGT) certification, and some hold Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification. On the first day of each session, new campers are tested for their swimming ability, and at the end of each child's enrollment in camp, a progress evaluation is sent home as a swim report.
  • Theme Weeks

Each session we have a special theme and campers can dress up on the second Friday if they choose.  Our "Fun Friday" activities are created around the session themes.
  • Counselor to Camper Ratio

The counselor to camper ratio is 1:5 for our campers entering K to 2nd grade.

The counselor to camper ratio is 1:8 for our campers entering 3rd to 6th grade.

    ROPES COURSE
Only 1 group of campers (group sizes are 15 – 20 campers) is at the Ropes Course activity at any one time. There are 2 trained Ropes Course staff at all times. Counselors stay at the activity according to the “general camp ratios” stated above.

    ARCHERY
Only 1 group of campers (group sizes are 15 – 20 campers) is at the Archery activity at any one time. There is 1 trained and certified Archery Instructor at all times with 10 children able to be on the range at one time.  Counselors stay at the activity according to the “general camp ratios” stated above.
