One of the unique aspects of Tenacre Country Day School has been the willingness of the parents to be involved in the Tenacre activities that support the school. The Tenacre Parents Association (TPA), which includes all parents and staff, was formed to assist in fundraising and in planning ways for Tenacre families to interact with the school and with each other. Its stated goal is to contribute to the school through service, social and financial endeavors.
The TPA meetings are held regularly to discuss issues of concern and to plan events. These meetings are announced in the weekly Green Leaf e-newsletter and are listed on the school calendar. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. Interested parents are always needed and may volunteer their services, in whatever capacity, to any of the committees.
