Tenacre Art Gallery

The mission of the Tenacre Art Gallery (TAG) is to inspire, enrich and fuel the creative spirit of our students, staff and parents by presenting thought-provoking artwork and welcoming exceptional artists to the Tenacre Community. TAG hosted its first exhibition in the spring of 2007. When artists exhibit their work at Tenacre, they also agree to work with students in art class. This has been a wonderful opportunity for Tenacre students, who have learned from painters, photographers, illustrators and other artists.

Current TAG Artist: Lori Mehta

The TAG Gallery is featuring the work of Lori Mehta until mid-February.

Lori Mehta P ’03, ’06, ’09 is an artist based in Wellesley and Cape Cod. While she always considered herself creative, she began her art career once her children, who all attended Tenacre, were older.

Her oil paintings are inspired by the people, places, and moments around her. Lori has studied with Zhanna Cantor, Nancy Colella, Page Railsback, and Catherine Kehoe.  She is a member of the Cape Cod Art Association, the Newton Art Association, the Wellesley Society of Artists, the Concord Art Association, North River Arts,  South Shore Art Association, the Copley Society of Artists, and the Duxbury Art Association.
