Tenacre Students Shine in National Math Competition

Tenacre is proud to celebrate a group of fourth, fifth, and sixth graders who were honored at Monday morning's assembly for their outstanding performance in this spring's Noetic Learning Math Contest. The competition challenges students to think critically, solve complex problems, and bring creativity and perseverance to mathematics.

With more than 50,000 students from over 1,000 schools competing nationwide, earning recognition in this contest is a true testament to hard work and mathematical talent. Students named to the National Honorable Mention list scored in the top 50% of all participants in their grade level across the country, while those earning a spot on the National Honor Roll ranked in the top 10% nationwide.

Tenacre's fourth graders led the way, with one student earning National Honor Roll distinction and nine receiving National Honorable Mention. Among fifth graders, two students earned National Honorable Mention, and four sixth graders also received National Honorable Mention recognition.

The competition also produced four individual class winners — one fourth grader, two fifth graders, and one sixth grader — each a National Honor Roll honoree who ranked among the top 10 scorers in the entire country in their grade.
