Summer Programs
Day Camp

Registration

    • Registration Information

You can register for camp and other summer programs through our online registration.  Our registration for new families opened on January 14, 2021.  The online system allows our families to complete forms online and view account balances. All online applications will be processed on a “first come, first served” basis.

MINIMUM ENROLLMENT
Day Camp has a minimum enrollment of 1 two-week session.  For Summer 2021, we are not able to allow for single weeks.

We believe that campers need 2 weeks to feel connected to camp, to bond with the staff, and to make strong friendships in their group.

Specialty weeks are an exception, and campers may attend just one week of a Specialty camp. (Rising Star Sports sessions do not qualify.)  Also, the Day Camp weeks do NOT need to be consecutive if your child is also participating in a Specialty.  This offers families more flexibility if you are interested in having your child attend both Day Camp and Specialty during the summer.  In other words, a camper can enroll for Week 1 Specialty and Week 2 Day Camp and meet the 2 consecutive week requirement.

ONLINE PAYMENTS
After completing your child's registration, you can pay securely from your bank account. You'll need your checking account number and bank routing number.  You can also mail a check to "Tenacre Summer Programs".

Below we have provided answers to common questions that parents have asked about registrations and meeting the 2 week minimum for Day Camp.
Q. Can we select individual weeks of Day Camp as long as any 2 weeks are consecutive?
A.  Yes, after you have selected ANY 2 consecutive weeks of camp during the summer, you can add-on single weeks before and/or after.  For example, your child could attend Week 1, Week 7, and Week 8 because week 7 and 8 are consecutive.
Q. What if my child is attending 1 or more Specialty Programs, can my child attend just one single week of Day Camp?
A.   GREAT NEWS!  The answer to this question is YES!  There must be 2 consecutive weeks selected (Specialty or Day), but it does NOT need to be consecutive weeks in the Day Camp if your child is also participating in a Specialty.  This offers families more flexibility if you are interested in having your child attend both Day Camp and Specialty during the summer.  In other words, a camper can enroll for Week 1 Specialty and Week 2 Day Camp and meet the 2 consecutive week requirement.   Other examples are these below:
  • Week 1 Specialty, Week 2 Specialty, Week 8 Day Camp
  • Week 3 Specialty, Week 7 Day Camp, Week 8 Specialty
Q. Can my child attend just one week of a Specialty Program?
A.  Yes!  Your child can participate in (1) one week of Specialty, or your child can attend multiple Specialty weeks and the weeks do NOT need to be consecutive.
