Pre-Camp Week

Pre-Camp Week

June 22 - June 26

Full Day Program
 from 8:25am - 3:15pm
Ages: 3 - 12 Year Olds

Join our summer counselors for a great kickoff to the season! We are offering a one-week Pre-Camp session in June to help parents with busy schedules. Because of the way the school calendar falls, we are able to run this additional week of camp.

The schedule of activities is modeled after our popular regular Day Camp schedule (Weeks 1 - 8).  While older campers in this week do not participate in camper choice periods, they do enjoy many of our regular camp activities. We incorporate various sports, crafts, and recreational activities to keep your child active, learning, and moving all day. Children are split into coed age groups with a low counselor-to-camper ratio.

School Snow Days
If your child is still in school for part of the week, please let us know, and we will pro-rate this week to meet your needs.  This is the ONLY week of the summer that we pro-rate.  Please reach out to the camp office for the prorated price. When registering online, your account will be billed for the full price, and we will need to make the changes on the back end of the program.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up
  • Morning Drop-Off Time: 8:00am - 8:25am
  • Pick-Up Time: 3:15pm
  • Aftercamp Child Care is available until 6pm Monday - Thursday

Should I Sign My Child Up for Pre-Camp Week?

It's important to know that your child will likely have different counselors in our Pre-Camp week, as we limit the number of campers for this kickoff week, and many of our staff start working in Week 1 of regular Day Camp (the week after our pre-camp week).  Some children adjust to camp better and quicker than others.  Our camp counselors are nurturing young adults who will help your child adjust to camp and make sure that they have the best summer!

Aftercamp Child Care ($33/day)
Aftercamp is available until 6 p.m. Monday - Thursday (4 days).

Snack
Camp provides water, and a mid-morning snack.

Lunch

Campers need to bring their own lunch (peanut/nut free), which is refrigerated.  Purchasing lunch from the camp will NOT be an option during Pre-Camp Week.

8-Week Discount
Register for 8 or more weeks and receive 5% off the total tuition. Discounts apply to campers enrolled in DAY CAMP, Pre-Camp Week, Full Day Specialty Camps, and Week 9.  Any combination of weeks in these programs will qualify for the 8-Week and Sibling Discounts

Minimum Enrollment

2 Consecutive Weeks are required.

Any single weeks (before or after) can be added after the minimum enrollment is met.  We believe that campers need 2 weeks to feel connected to camp, to bond with the staff, and to make strong friendships in their group.

The 2 consecutive weeks need to be during our program from June 22 - August 28, which are our weeks during Pre-Camp, Regular Day Camp, and Week 9.  Rising Star Sports sessions do not qualify.

3 and 4 Year Olds (pre-camp week)

  • Depending on enrollments, 3 and 4 year olds may be grouped together during our pre-camp week.  (In regular Day Camp weeks, 3 and 4 year olds are separated into our THREES program and FOURS program.)
