Photographer works with students

Photographer Craig Poler visited Tenacre this morning and worked with fifth graders in art class after giving an all-school assembly. Craig is a fourth-generation photographer specializing in film and digital format. His work can be seen in galleries in Boston, Nantucket; Southampton, NY; and New York City. His work includes painterly, realist and abstract images. His latest work concentrates on oceanscapes. He has produced two books on his photographs, Temporibus and Abstractus. All of his images are limited to a series of 10 or exclusively one of one and most are printed in large format. His work can be seen in many private collections and he has won several awards for his photographs. When Craig is not making photographs, he is often writing his first novel or traveling to new countries specializing in people to people, cultural interaction.
