Pre-K, K, and 1st graders hold community meeting in Schoolhouse

This morning, pre-kindergartners, kindergartners, and first graders gathered for a Schoolhouse community meeting. The Schoolhouse refers to the part of Tenacre’s campus that houses these three grades. The theme of the meeting was to talk about Kindness, Tenacre’s all-school theme for 2018-2019. Students were invited to give example of ways to be kind to their classmates. Many volunteers from all three grades gave excellent examples of kindness—saying thank you, holding the door for someone, inviting classmates to play with you at recess, and sharing with classmates. In addition to the all-school theme of Kindness, the Schoolhouse’s ongoing theme is Kind Thoughts, Kind Words, Kind Actions.
