Students participate in schoolwide community service project
Tenacre students and staff participated in the Unique and United Project, a schoolwide community service project sponsored by Creative Visions/Students Rebuild, a group that partners with other non-profit organizations to strengthen communities around the world. This is the 9th year Tenacre has engaged in an effort that includes schools and organizations around the world. In this project, each participant designed a piece of artwork that highlights each person’s uniqueness. For each piece of artwork submitted to Creative Visions, the community raised $5 for organizations such as CARE, Choose Love, and Kids for Peace. The Tenacre community created 192 pieces of art and raised $960 for the Unique and United Project. At the project's completion, an all-school photo was taken with students and staff holding their artwork.
