"Make It Count!" a Moms As Mentors program hosted by Tenacre

Tenacre School is once again pleased to host a Moms As Mentors Workshop
MAKE IT COUNT! Hosted by Tenacre School
FOR: Moms* and girls in grades 1-3
WHEN: Saturday, January 6 from 9:00 am – 11:30 am
WHERE: Tenacre Country Day School, 78 Benvenue Street, Wellesley, MA 02482
This program features enjoyable, hands-on activities centered on fostering financial empowerment and an entrepreneurial spirit. The session will include activities that incorporate concepts such as needs vs. wants, money values, familial dialogue on money-related matters, and envisioning oneself as an entrepreneur. All Moms as Mentors mom-daughter programs offer interactive team-building activities for girls and moms and invaluable mother & daughter bonding time. The main goal is always is to be together and have fun!

Story Time Saturdays Winter 2018

Join us this winter for a fun, thematic story and craft program geared to families of 3 and 4 year olds. Each session is a separate unit taught by one of Tenacre’s Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten teachers. Story Time will start at 9:00 a.m. and run for about 45 minutes in Tenacre’s library. Story Time is free of charge, but registration is required so we have a craft and snack prepared for your child.

Art Saturdays Winter 2018

Explore your creative side this winter and learn about and be influenced by three unique artists. Each workshop will focus on a singular craftsman and consist of an educational section and a hands-on creative session. Third and fourth grade students will take home their own masterpiece based on the individual artist’s style and medium. The classes will be taught by Tenacre art teachers Molly Curry and Bree Ouelette.

Jan. 20: Wayne Thiebaud's Donuts, Ice Cream Cones, and Cakes.
Jan. 27: Helen Musselwhite’s Paper Memories
Feb. 10: Wassily Kandinsky's Abstract Landscapes

All classes will be held from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. in Tenacre’s art studio.
Each class is $40; all three classes are $110.
