Join us on the Tenacre Country Day School campus this winter for a thematic story time program geared toward families of 3 and 4 year olds. Each session will be a separate unit taught by one of Tenace’s pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, or first grade teachers. After reading a story to the group, the teacher will lead an engaging, theme-based activity for the children.
Story Time will start at 9:00 a.m. and run for about 45 minutes. Story Time is free of charge, but registration is required so that we can make sure that there are enough craft supplies for each child. For more information and to register, go to www.tenacrecds.org/about-tenacre/community-events.
Please join the TPA’s Community Inclusiveness Committee (CIC) and Jaleesa Anselm, Tenacre's Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, for an evening of conversation and learning: How does Tenacre prepare students to lead with kindness and empathy? What do diversity, equity, and inclusion look like in an elementary school context? How can parents support their children when sensitive questions arise about various identities, such as race, neurodivergence, or socioeconomic difference? Please RSVP.
