Children aged 7–8 are invited to participate in virtual field trips this spring! Each field trip will feature a different adventure and be followed with an art project taught by Tenacre’s art teacher.
Virtual field trips will start at 9:30 a.m. and run for about 45-60 minutes.
April 10: The Amazon Rainforest--CANCELLED
Children will travel on a virtual field trip to the Amazon rainforest and learn about the layers of the rainforest and the amazing animals that live there. After the trip, students will engage in a rainforest-themed art project led by Tenacre art teacher Molly Rosenthal.
April 17: Coral ReefsChildren will travel on a virtual field trip to a coral reef and learn all about the animals that live there, the roles of predator and prey, and plenty of new vocabulary! After the trip, students will engage in a reef-themed art project led by Tenacre art teacher Molly Rosenthal.
May 1: African SafariChildren will travel on a virtual field trip to an African safari park and see an incredible variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, warthogs, rhinos, lions, zebras, and more! After the trip, students will engage in a safari-themed art project led by Tenacre art teacher Molly Rosenthal.
