The Academic Building, completed in the fall of 2000, houses the school's new library, technology center, three new classrooms, a courtyard, and administration offices. The new academic building conveniently connects to the existing facilities. In December of 2005, two additional classrooms were built allowing camp more space for summer programs.
Wells Playhouse
Refurbished in 2003, the playhouse offers a large floor space and stage for the Theater Arts activity.
School House
The School House Building has many spacious rooms and serves as the home of our 4 & 5 campers. Each group has its own room with a large variety of pre-school toys and games.
Art and Music Buildings
The Art and Music buildings provide perfect space to carry on our music, clay, and arts and crafts programs. The art building features all elementary art equipment and materials. The music building has a stereo system, projectors, and a large variety of instruments.
Tenacre Science Center
The Tenacre Science Center provides the focus for our nature study program. The center features a greenhouse built in the fall of 2002, a solar hot water system, tidal pool, salt and freshwater fish tanks, indoor-outdoor animal cage, and many types of scientific instruments. Equipped with all necessary materials needed to study ecology and nature-related subjects.
Gymnasium
The gymnasium was completed in the fall of 2000. The regulation size gymnasium is an excellent location for our indoor instructional sports and games program. Located next to the gym are two new locker rooms.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria houses our kitchen, dining and stage facilities and is the ideal spot for rainy day activities.
Swimming Pools
The two heated swimming pools are specially designed to provide the safest and best possible instructional settings. The pools themselves are 50' by 25', with a depth range of 3' to 8'. The shallow end provides an excellent facility to instruct the younger non-swimmer, while more advanced swimming instruction can take place at the deeper end. We also have added a wading pool in order to help our youngest campers learn to swim.
Ropes Course
The ropes course was again a tremendous success last summer. In the spring of 2003, many new high elements and a climbing wall were added in the gymnasium to compliment the existing course. A ropes course is a place where one can climb high or try to balance on a swinging beam while learning to trust peers. The ropes course curriculum is filled with important values like teamwork, sportsmanship, cooperation, effort, and meeting challenges. It is supervised by a fully trained and certified mature staff.
