Swing Walk Graphic Swimming

The camp has two outside, in-ground, heated pools. The camp participates in the Red Cross Progressive Skills Program. All members of the swim staff hold Life Guard Training (LGT) certification and most also hold Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification. The swim staff is entirely separate from the counseling staff. Every morning each child has an instructional swim lesson. In the afternoon, children have a second swim that is recreational, also under the supervision of the swim staff. Each swim group is small. Most groups average 3-5 swimmers. Each child is individually tested on his/her first day of camp. Many of our youngest children swim “1-on-1” with their instructors.
