Tenacre is a small close-knit community that strives for all members of our community to participate. An institution that prides itself where each and every member of the Tenacre family makes a difference, has been fortunate to have had generous philanthropic support for generations. Like most independent schools, Tenacre is funded through tuition income, endowment income and annual contributions.
Voluntary contributions to the Annual Fund are a necessary component of the school's budget and help to bridge the 10% gap between tuition revenue and the actual cost of educating a child at Tenacre. Each year over 1,500 members of the Tenacre community, including parents, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni, staff and friends of the school are invited to participate in the Annual Fund. The Annual Fund kicks off in the fall and concludes with the close of the school's fiscal year on June 30th.
Tenacre is very fortunate to receive such generous support from current parents. In addition to making tuition payments, parents participate in the Annual Fund, periodic endowment and capital campaigns, and various Parent Association fundraisers throughout the year.
We appreciate and thank you for your past support. Our future success is contingent upon the continued generosity of the Tenacre community.
