Annual Giving is an important part of the independent school choice. Tenacre, like most independent schools, is funded through tuition income, endowment income and annual contributions. Voluntary contributions to the Annual Fund are a necessary component of the school's budget and help to bridge the 10% gap between tuition revenue and the actual cost of educating a child at Tenacre. Each year over 1,500 members of the Tenacre community, including parents, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni, staff and friends of the school are invited to participate in the Annual Fund. The Annual Fund kicks off in the fall and concludes with the close of the school's fiscal year on June 30th.

Tenacre is very fortunate to receive such generous support from current parents. In addition to making tuition payments, parents participate in the Annual Fund, periodic Endowment and Capital Campaigns and various Parent Association fundraisers throughout the year.
